Hi IxDF Newcastle Upon Tyne, let's meet up and network over a pint! Share UX design insights and resources, discuss UX problems you are facing now, or just chat about anything else. It's going to be an informal, cozy meetup with fellow designers and researchers. Feel free to invite any friends, family members or colleagues!

Hi all - Jamie and I were pretty lonely last time so would be great if you guys good make it to the FIRST EVER IDF Newcastle meetup. We've set the first date and picked a central location - now all we need is YOU....

Jamie (UX Designer at Newcastle University) and I (Head of UX at Status Digital) will be there to welcome you and we'll both be bringing some friends and colleagues who also work in UX (and/or related fields).

We were also talking about maybe setting up a Slack channel for the local UX community. Would like to know if anyone thinks this would be of interest?

Meetup attendees

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meetup (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meetups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
